Titan Lifts, creators of the Bulldog Moto Cradle Wheel Chock, recently gained more proof to put behind their tagline, “Nothing Stronger.” In October of 2014, Titan received word from Michael Deehan, a user of the wheel chock, that he had been involved in an automobile accident. Deehan was towing an enclosed trailer behind his Dodge pickup truck which contained his beloved $20,000 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe. His motorcycle was strapped into the trailer, but more importantly, was held in position by the Titan Bulldog Moto Cradle Wheel Chock at the front wheel. When swerving to avoid another driver who was crossing multiple lanes, Deehan’s truck smashed into a concrete post, totaling his truck. However, thanks to Titan’s wheel chock, his motorcycle stayed in its place in the trailer and was left unscathed.

“Not only is the Titan Bulldog remarkably strong and stable for trailering, it also works great at protecting the motorcycle if one is unfortunate enough to have an accident.
I recently wrecked a full size Dodge pickup when I had to swerve to miss a vehicle that swung into my lane in a two-lane left turn. When I swerved (should have just let the other driver run into me…would probably be less damage) I did not see a very sturdy concrete post on the right. The truck impacted the post pretty much head on. Keep in mind this was during mild acceleration and no brakes were being applied to either the truck or trailer. The stop was instant and the concrete post wasn’t even moved at all.
As you can see from the pictures, the truck was damaged to the point that the frame was bent (totaled). And, you can also see the condition of the Harley in the trailer. No damage at all to the motorcycle and I rode it home!
